Start It Up helped Empirical reposition the company's brand and messaging in the Federal sector, including developing a new brand identity, redesigned website, new content, and campaigns to build brand awareness, effectively target better opportunities, and build a sales pipeline of qualified opportunities and teaming partners. TPN has been providing medical claim review services for 20+ years but was not generating consistent revenues and needed better strategies to scale its business. Under SIU CEO's previous company, New Generation Event Solutions, Karen raised $1M from private investors to launch The Women's Congress (TWC), an event and media platform designed for female entrepreneurs and corporate executives.
Quickly establishing the TWC brand as the 'must attend' event for entrepreneurs and corporate executives, the first two events attracted 10,000 entrepreneurs and corporate executives from across the US and around the globe to network, learn from leading business speakers, and source products & services from several hundred companies and technology providers. The event generated nearly $2M in sponsor and conference revenues, and an engaged online and year-round business community of more than 50,000 business leaders and entrepreneurs.

Start It Up worked closely with the founder & CEO to develop his professional association start-up idea, including business planning, branding and website development, marketing content, and event strategies.
